I have been trying to decide how to display the squirrel assemblage given to me by its maker, Mabel Watson Payne.
She takes a toddler art class once a week and this symmetrical creation was one of the projects she recently completed there. I wanted to photograph it on different colored backgrounds so Mabel could see the pictures on screen and let me know which one she likes best. And would she rather see it horizontal or vertical?
For now it has found a temporary home on the refrigerator, keeping company with the treasured paper plate face (an earlier gift via the same art class).
