Train Adventure

The lighting challenges during a trans-Bay trip from San Francisco to the East Bay on BART are always many and varied. From tunnels to daylight and lots of intermediate states, with a permanent background of greenish artificial light filtered through opaque plastic ceiling panels. I was zipping through settings and adjustments on the new camera like a sometimes-successful maniac. Mabel Watson Payne and her mother paid no attention to the lighting and concentrated quite spontaneously on amusing one another.
