Dawn on Fulton

Finally the seasons have swung around and it is light again at the morning hour when I am traveling across San Francisco on MUNI from home to work, and there are more opportunities for pictures. This window tableau is the first sight that confronts me today after I hop off the bus. The mesh of a dingy screen contributes some extra atmosphere in the early dimness.

Farther up the block on the familiar uphill approach to work I am sidetracked by this tragic-looking fern. It is the jolie laid of the plant world.
